MERAKI is owned by ANKITA SHARMA, and as the name of the practice implies Ankita chooses to pour her heart and soul in every project she undertakes. She felt that the name ‘Meraki’ – which means love, soul and creativity – exactly describes her passion for interiors. She loves to promote style, functionality and visual appeal, thereby highlighting a space’s essence and importance. She seeks to understand a building’s soul then match its moods and character through careful selection of furniture, accessories and fittings. Ankita enjoys the creativity of styling and decorating, be it a blank canvas that allows unbridled opportunity for invention, or an established home which requires that simple touch.
